Anosha Khawaja​

Originally hailing from Lahore, brought up in England, living in the USA, I bring a wealth of experience to my role as one of the 3 founders of NWHH in Nagar, Pakistan. With a background in hospital volunteering and my current role as a medical interpreter, my journey began with a deep commitment to addressing the pressing need for accessible healthcare for women in my country of birth. As well as treating  patients, our Clinic conducts health camps, educational programs, and awareness campaigns, tackling various challenges faced by women in rural Pakistan. Through strategic partnerships and advocacy and fundraising  I have played a pivotal role in shaping campaigns that prioritize women's health. My unwavering passion and community-focused approach, coupled with my extensive experience, make our Clinic a beacon of hope for women seeking improved healthcare outcomes in Pakistan.

Jahan Yousaf

Salaamalaikum! My name is Jahan Yousaf. Since 2008, I've been working as a recording and touring artist. The high-intensity environment of the music industry & international touring has presented unique health challenges throughout the years, which prompted a personal exploration of wellbeing due to weakened immunity and a reproductive system disorder. Fortunately, comprehensive healthcare was within my reach, providing me with both Eastern and Western medicinal perspectives to embark on my path to recovery. The invaluable insights, education, and empowerment gained from this health journey reaffirmed my belief that access to healthcare, currently a privilege, is an intrinsic human right. This belief drives my aspiration to extend these crucial resources to those who are in underserved communities, specifically in Pakistan, a country that holds a significant place in my heart due to my Pakistani ancestry. I believe it is a sacred duty to be of service to humanity, and this clinic is an offering that I am blessed to be able to contribute to.

Samira Dar Sheikh

Background: Samira Dar Sheikh was born and raised in the United Kingdom, with a
            unique upbringing that provided her with a deep appreciation for both British and
            Pakistani cultures. Her parents immigrated to the UK in the early 1960s, seeking
            better opportunities and a brighter future. Growing up, Samira had the privilege of
            visiting Pakistan annually, where she immersed herself in the rich cultural heritage of
            her ancestral homeland. Fluent in Urdu and Punjabi, as well as English, Samira is
            able to communicate with ease to the locals as well.

            Interests: Samira's exposure to diverse cultures from a young age sparked a
            profound interest in exploring and celebrating the richness of global diversity. She
            developed a keen fascination for multiculturalism, art, and traditional craftsmanship.
            Samira loves to travel and believes that experiencing different cultures firsthand is a
            powerful way to broaden one's horizons and foster a deeper understanding of the
            world.

            By pursuing a career as a therapist, Samira aims to use her skills and expertise to
            help people in the region become better versions of themselves. She believes in the
            transformative power of therapy and the profound impact it can have on individuals,
            families, and communities. Samira envisions providing a safe and supportive space
            for individuals to explore their emotions, gain self-awareness, and work towards
            personal growth and healing.

            Achievements: In addition to her philanthropic work through the Nagar Women's
            Health House, Samira's dedication to becoming a therapist exemplifies her
            commitment to improving the lives of others. Her passion for fostering positive
            change extends beyond physical health to encompass mental and emotional well-
            being.​

Naheed Khaja

In 2017, Naheed Khaja was looking for a way to form a charity foundation in her mother Chand Sultana Hafeez’s honor to help the underprivileged in Pakistan by providing water wells and clean water projects. By the grace of God from there it has grown from providing many water wells and clean water projects throughout rural areas in Pakistan, to building a state of the art Nagar Fort School which provides quality education to almost 400 underprivileged children in a very remote village of Nagar/Chitral. A few years after the school opened, Naheed invited the rest of the team to start a new charity project next to the non-profit school, which ultimately became Nagar Women's Health House.

Shahzada Ghaziuddin

Shahzada Ghaziuddin belongs to the princely family of Chitral, Pakistan. After his graduation from Peshawar University in Pakistan, he wanted to move back to his village Nagar, Chitral to help the impoverished villagers with education, clean water, and health care. He is the main source on the ground to manage all our charity projects on ground in Nagar and many nearby impoverished villages of lower Chitral District.​

Thomas Dieuzeide

Back in 2023, I was looking to use some of my time to do charity work. My wife had met Jahan and she told me about Nagar Women's Health House. I promptly contacted them and learned they wanted to improve their website. Even though it was not exactly my area of expertise I decided to take on the responsibility. Hence, I am now happy to help as the web designer of NWHH.
